Summer Camp 2026 Registration is now open!
Session 3: July 6-10 still has 4 open spots and July 20-24 has 2 open spots.
​All other sessions are full and accepting for waiting list. 

​Summer Camps offer children a chance to connect to the natural world through play, adventure and their senses. We spend each day immersed in the natural world exploring creeks, ponds, meadows, forests and the beach. Camps are personalized to the interests and skill level of each group and may include:

  • Nature Awareness skills
  • Wilderness safety and knowledge of
    hazards
  • Local flora and fauna
  • River rock paints
  • Making herbal bug spray
  • Animal tracking
  • Barefoot fox walking
  • Scout games and practices
  • Wilderness survival shelter building
  • Nature Journals​

Registration for Summer Camp 2026 
​Due to increased demand we are using a lottery system this summer for our elementary and middle school summer camps. Fill out the link below to request a session. Priority is given to returning campers and siblings.
Summer Camp dates will be announced  January 5 with the registration lottery open through January 22. The registration lottery drawing was held on January 23
. Registration for the remaining spots is now on a first-come basis.

2026 Ages 6-14 Summer Camp
  • Taught by Drew and Staff
  • Time: 9am-4pm
  • Locations: We will use our vans for transportation to visit up to 5 of the following locations in a week: Foothills Nature Preserve, Huddart Park, Thornewood Open Space Preserve, Castle Rock State Park, San Gregorio State Beach, Pescadero State Beach. Drop-off and pickup each day will be in Palo Alto at the Magic Forest in Rinconada Park. 
  • Dates:
  • Week 1: June 15-19 Ages 6-8 (5 year olds who are currently enrolled in Young 5's or Kindergarten can apply) - Full, accepting for the waiting list
  • Week 2: June 22-26 Ages 9-11 years old - Full, accepting for the waiting list
  • Week 3 July 6-10 with July 9 Overnight Camping Ages 12-14 years old - Must be currently enrolled in Middle School Grades 6-8 or equivalent - ONLY 4 OPEN SPOTS!
  • Week 4: July 13-17 Ages 6-8 (5 year olds who are currently enrolled in Young 5's or Kindergarten can apply) - Full, accepting for the waiting list
  • Week 5: July 20-24 Ages 9-11 years old - ONLY 2 OPEN SPOTS!
  • Week 6: August 3-7 Ages 6-11 years old (5 year olds who are currently enrolled in Young 5's or Kindergarten can apply) - Full, accepting for the waiting list
  • Tuition: $785 for Sessions 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6. Session 3 with Thursday camping overnight is $950
